Your Money, Your Goals

Presented by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Services

Thursday, April 4th, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Your Money, Your Goals is a money management program that focuses on providing the basics of money management including setting up and managing a budget, determining wants vs needs, finding and plugging spending leaks, and recognizing spending triggers and money saving tips and setting goals.

Music and Movement Image

Music and Movement Group - Provided by Early Childhood Services of North Central Texas 


8-week session: March 26th; April 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th; May 7th and 14th.

For parents and their children, ages 0-3 (and siblings up to age 5). 
This group is designed to combine music and movement together in order to facilitate learning in a fun way. Children will be exposed to new words and practice following directions each week through the music selected. Active participation is highly encouraged!  No registration needed.

Every second Monday of the month, 

11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 


  • Movie Monday will not meet February - April. It will resume in May after tax season.
  • May 13th - Cold Mountain
Join us on the second Monday of every month for a matinee movie shown in our auditorium. Bottled water and snacks will be provided, along with a showing of an award winning film or musical.

Needlework Group


Every third Tuesday of the month, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

  • May 21st

The Needlework group is a great way to meet fellow crafters who enjoy crochet, embroidery, knitting, or any other type of hand work. Share ideas and hone skills. Open to all ages and skill levels. Just bring your own materials (yarn, needles/hooks).

Every third Thursday of the month, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

  • April 18th - Dragon Teeth by Michael Crichton
  • May 16th - Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline

Adults of all ages are welcome to attend and discuss the book selection of the month. Copies of the selection for each month will be provided at the meeting the month prior, while supplies last. If you miss the meeting, please contact Rachel at rreeves@weatherfordtx.gov or 817-598-4207 to see if any additional copies are available.

All meetings will be at Senior Care at Holland Lake, located at 
1201 Holland Lake Dr., Weatherford, TX 76086 

  • March 26th - theme: a book set in Texas
  • April 23rd - theme: a book with a beautiful cover
  • May 28th - theme: a book written for children or teens
Join us on the fourth Tuesday of every month for a book discussion and breakfast (please note location above). It’s a chance to share your thoughts on a book of your choosing that follows our theme for the month, and you will learn new titles to add to your must read list.

Join us every third Tuesday of the month for collectible card and table top gaming. Whether you are brand new to gaming, or a veteran, this event is for you. Please bring your own materials for your game of choice. Recommended for ages 14 through adult.

Location: Antebellum Ale House, 321 E Oak St, Weatherford, TX 76086 
Join us for our quarterly trivia night. Come alone or as a team. Antebellum gift cards will be awarded to our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. For one night, the library won’t help you find the answers.
